Emergency responders have been racing against time to build shelters at resettlement sites in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, as aftershocks from the deadly quake that struck the region last week continue.
The magnitude-6.8 earthquake hit Dingri County in the city of Xigaze on January 7, claiming 126 lives and injuring 188 others.
M4.9 and M5.0 earthquakes jolted Dingri County at 8:57 p.m. and 8:58 p.m., respectively, on Monday, both from last week's earthquake, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
