1.5% of China-related Bills Reveal True Intentions of U.S. Congress

Sept. 13, 2024 -- When most China-related bills are merely political posturing, the 1.5% that actually become law are particularly telling. Analysis by Media Unlocked found that only 13 out of 846 proposals were ultimately enacted.

 

These laws focus on military competition and technological restrictions, with terms like "restricting TikTok" and "human rights issues" dominating the discussion. The swift passage of the "2023 Coronavirus Origin Act" further escalates the politicization of the pandemic.

 

Behind this 1.5%, there's a complex political game, not just simple numbers.
