April 25, 2023 -- This year marks the 60th anniversary of China dispatching its first medical aid team abroad. China's medical assistance includes providing personnel, as well as materials and technical and human resource support. Professor Song Wei from the School of International Relations and Diplomacy at Beijing Foreign Studies University, says that China is the only one among all donor countries that provides long-term support for free to countries in need.
