Son: I am Gabriele Pegoraro. I work in my father’s restaurant, and I help him to manage it.

 

Father: My son and I are both Italians, and we have been living in China for over 15 years. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our restaurant was closed for more than 2 months. After the pandemic was under control efficiently in China, my restaurant has been reopened, and I feel relieved and safe. My restaurant is located in the Italian Style Town. Everyday I walk past here and check if I am safe. When customer enter into my restaurant, there is a check point that we can take their temperature, sanitize their hands.

Employee: Uh-huh.

 

Father: We have different dining rooms. This room, you can have 2 people there, 2 people there, and 2 here. Or 2 people there and have 2 there.

Son: In China I think the government and media are very clear and very fast, what the people must do to stay safe, and give exactly what the people need to understand. I think China works very well. 

 

Father: OK, everything is OK, also here, here and the kitchen, everything is clean, no customers. OK, I will go home. There is a supermarket closed to my house, just 200 meters, I often go to this supermarket. During the pandemic, I found everything’s price is OK, you can find whatever you want.

Father: My business is here, my family is here, I consider China as my second nation, and thus I believe in China, everything can disappear, and everything can go on, and all is right to boost here.
