On July 25th, the second China-Latin America and Caribbean States Roundtable on Human Rights with the theme “China-Latin America Community with a Shared Future and the Development of Human Rights” was held in São Paulo, Brazil. Over 130 officials, experts, scholars, and representatives from relevant social organizations, think tanks, and media in China and Latin America and the Caribbean participated in the discussions on issues such as human rights protection in the digital age, environment, climate and human rights, and the contributions of China and Latin America to global human rights governance, reaching broad consensus.
