Abstract: According to the basic viewpoint of Marxism, labor is also a prerequisite for the free and comprehensive development of human beings. Only on the basis of labor freedom and free labor can one achieve free development; There is a mutually promoting relationship between human free labor and human free development. This paper mainly studies that in the context of Chinese path to modernization, we take the people as the center to ensure the subjectivity of workers; Protecting the rights and interests of workers and enhancing their sense of happiness; Stimulating the enthusiasm and creativity of workers through institutional innovation; Optimize the social security system and relieve workers' worries. It is not only an important path to realize the free and comprehensive development of workers, but also the essence of Chinese path to modernization.
