Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had lifted all indigent people out of poverty by the end of 2019, according to a poverty alleviation and development leading group meeting.

 

A total of 161,000 people have escaped poverty and 77 regiments have been take off the poverty list, with the poverty rate plunging to zero from 9.1% since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2012.

 

In 2019 alone，Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps helped 6,018 people, 35 companies and four regiments get rid of poverty.
