Sept 17, 2019-- A side event titled “The Fight Against Extremism and Human Rights Protection in Xinjiang” was held during the 42th session of the UN Human Rights Council on September 16th in Geneva. The event, sponsored by the China Society for Human Rights Studies (CSHRS), focused on China’s de-radicalization measures and experience in Xinjiang, as well as the achievements of Xinjiang’s human rights protection.
