Abstract:On December 12, 2018, the white paper titled “Progress in Human Rights over the 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up in China” was issued in Beijing. The white paper points out that since the reform and opening up, China has made great achievements in human rights construction and made unique contributions to the development of International Human Rights. China has comprehensively strengthened the construction of human rights rule of law, made great efforts to promote the development of human rights in the fields of legislation, judicature, law enforcement and education, and successfully embarked on a path of human rights development in line with China's national conditions. On this basis,  there is still huge room for development in the future of the rule of law with human rights as the core. This requires us to continue to investigate and fill gaps, improve relevant human rights legislation, further improve domestic human rights safeguards, vigorously popularize human rights knowledge, and formulate a national action plan on business and human rights.
