April 23, 2018 -- A seminar on the creation of China's human rights discourse in the new era was held on April 12 in Changsha, capital city of Hunan province.

The construction of the human rights discourse in new era has entered a new phase of media convergence. Media convergence is not simply a combination of traditional media and the Internet, but organic integration of content and platform, said Deng Xiaosong, director of the Editorial Office of the Internet and Media Convergence Center, China Intercontinental Communication Center.

We should resort to technology to expand channels of communication and rebuild the relationship between the media and users in developing media integration, said Deng.

Deng also expressed his desire to work together with experts and the media at the seminar to contribute to the construction of China’s human rights discourse in the new era.
