China launches 5-year program to reduce children's injuries
The 2016-2020 Children's Injuries Prevention Program was officially launched in Beijing on June 19.
The program was initiated by the Center for the Prevention and Control of Noninfectious and Chronic Disease of Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and supported by the National Working Committee on Children and Women and the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund.
The program will cover 22 counties in Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Guangdong, Zhejiang provinces and Shijiazhuang and Jinan cities, benefiting over 100,000 children.
