Chinese human rights delegation visits Czech Republic

Sept. 28, 2017 -- The delegation of China Foundation for Human Rights Development(CFHRD), headed by Huang Mengfu, former vice-chairman of the 11th CPPCC National Committee and chairman of the CFHRD, visited the Czech Republic from Sept. 24 to 25.
 
The delegation met with Klaus, former Czech president, and Kautsky, vice foreign minister, and held a discussion with officials and scholars from the Czech Institute, the Claus Institute and other think tanks.
 
During the discussion, Huang highlighted the great contributions China has made to the global poverty alleviation and the global human rights governance. China has proposed to strengthen communication and cooperation in human rights on the basis of mutual respect and strive to build a community of shared future for all mankind, said Huang.
 
The Czech officials spoke highly of China’s human rights development and its contribution to the global human rights cause. The Czech side hoped to strengthen communications with the CFHRD to improve human rights development in the two countries.
