“A series of thoughts about the peaceful development of China proposed by President Xi Jinping are of great importance for studying the philosophy of the right to peace in modern China,” said Cui Yuying, who is deputy head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, vice minister of the State Council Information Office and also vice president of the CSHRS.

"Holding the banner of ‘peace, development, cooperation and win-win’, China has always been committed to the road of peaceful development to protect global peace and promote common development," she added.

Cui urged that human rights researchers should better understand the importance of the right to peace and turn the peace resources in China into discourse advantages to build a Chinese discourse system of right to peace.

Nearly 50 experts and scholars shared their thoughts about the right to peace in China. They called for the international society to realize and protect the right to peace for all people.
