No single template can secure human rights, China's foreign minister says
The 52nd regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council was held between February 27 and April 4, 2023. Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang addressed at a high-level segment of the session via video link, comprehensively introducing China's vision and measures on human rights, elaborating on China's proposals on global human rights governance, and contributing Chinese wisdom to the sound development of the international human rights cause. During the session, Representatives from the China Society for Human Rights Studies (CSHRS) and some other NGOs held sideline events on a series of topics, including Xinjiang, Xizang and women's rights.
