A research institute on eldercare under the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs launched a website providing online services for senior citizens Friday.

Organ donation and transplantation in China aligns with China's national condition and follows relevant laws and the WHO’s ethics principles, said Huang Jiefu, director of China National Organ Donation and Transplantation Committee.
 
Huang suggested that organ transplantation can be provided as a basic medical service to the public and included into the national basic medical and health service systems.
 
In addition, Huang called for reducing medical expenses for poor families and sticking to the principle of free and voluntary organ donation at the same time.
