The 2022 Beijing Forum on Human Rights opened on July 26. The president of the China Society for Human Rights, Padma Choling, has denounced politicizing the human rights issue and using it to create division and confrontation. The theme of this year's forum is working together towards a fairer, more equitable, reasonable and inclusive global human rights governance.
