Feb.2, 2015 China's Supreme People's Court (SPC) inaugurated another circuit court Saturday, the second in a week, in its latest efforts to reform and branch out so as to bring justice to the doorsteps of ordinary people. The court, based in Shenyang, capital city of northeast China's Liaoning Province, will primarily handle major administrative, civil and commercial cases that will be heard by the SPC in the northeastern provinces of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang, according to the SPC. Feb.3, 2015 Medical insurance subsidies for China's rural residents will increase this year, the country's health authority has said. Feb.3, 2015 Chinese government has invested 47.2 billion yuan (about 7.7 billion U.S. dollars) in its rural nutrition program since 2011, and 32.2 million children have reaped the benefits, the Ministry of Education said on Friday. The program was launched to address malnutrition in rural areas, when it began to allocate three yuan a day to students to supplement their diets with nutritious meals. This was increased to four yuan in November 2014.
